Ever tried glamping? Or slept in a real yurt?

This fantastic Package includes: 3 days 2 nights in Luxury Yurt B&B accommodation at prime Lake District location with fully guided walks suited to your ability and heaps of FUN! Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd June. At £33 a day its a NO BRAINER!!

Our 3 days, 2 night holiday takes place in Borrowdale, arguably THE MOST beautiful of all the valleys in the stunning Lake District and is also the gateway to the famous Scafell Pike (the highest peak of England).

Friday - Arriving in the evening, our sociable group will get to know each other over a local pub dinner and then “glamp” in the beautiful yurts, each comfortably sleeping 4-5 people on futon beds (bed linen provided) and each equipped with its own woodburner to keep you warm.

Saturday - the choice of route will depend on the group's ability and weather conditions on the day;

a) Climbing Scafell Pike (10 miles medium hard)

b) Castle Crag (described by Wainwright as one of the loveliest square miles in the Lake District; 8 miles moderate).

Following a scrumptious pub dinner and a few drinks we'll head back to our yurts for the evening to exchange stories and play board games over a glass of wine or two.

Sunday - A picturesque walk around the Castlerigg stone circle (5 miles moderate) before returning back to Manchester.

During the weekend we’ll be staying in yurts - this is GLAMPING at its best. Traditionally yurts are bent wood framed dwellings, originally used by the nomads in the steppes of Central Asia. These comfortable, safe and weather proof structures are a far-cry from staying in a tent!!!! They are warm, comfortable and spacious, it's easy to forget they are still essentially tents. You'll LOVE IT!!

Kit list: walking trousers (not jeans), walking boots, change of shoes for the evening, change of clothes, warm clothes, gaiters, waterproofs, tea flask, daypack, head torch, towel
