For one day only, the 1980s Richard Gere classic sweeps into Cineworld to make viewers' hearts swoon! "Let love lift us up where we belong..." An Officer and a Gentleman's mixture of grit and unashamed romance catapulted it to enormous box office success in 1982. And now audiences get to enjoy the journey all over again! Zack Mayo (Richard Gere) signs up to the Navy's Aviation Officer Candidate School in order to become a Navy pilot. He's put through his paces by formidable drill instructor Emil Foley (Oscar-winner Louis Gossett Jr.) - who submits Mayo and the other candidates to a gruelling training regime. At the same time, Mayo begins a passionate relationship with Paula (Debra Winger). His experiences both in training and outside it will ultimately instill in him the importance of becoming an officer and a gentleman. Gere's star charisma, Winger's sparky love interest and the scene-stealing Gossett Jr. make this a bonafide 1980s classic!
