Conistone Dib and Mossdale Scar Walk

Distance: 11 miles

Duration: 5h

Difficulty: 3 (one easy scramble)

This walk in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales passes through a limestone valley of Conistone Dib which includes a narrow section between two limestone pillars and ends with a short scramble onto the limestone pavement. After that the walk continues over more limestone scenery to Bycliffe along an old packhorse route, and then on to the beautiful Mossdale Scar, after which we head back through a quiet moorland to Grassinton and a well-deserved Sunday dinner at The Foresters Arms.
