Saturday 24th May
We’ll arrive to Palma de Mallorca (EasyJet, Ryanair or Jet2 will get your own flight directly from Manchester), check in a hostel by the beach and go explore the nightlife of the island’s capital.
Hotel Roc Linda
The comfortable rooms of the hotel linda are all equipped with air-conditioning and satellite TV. There are four shows a week in the hotel as well as tennis and mini-golf.
Apart from the beach, the local area offers a wide variety of activities including restaurants, bars, nightlife, shops, an aquarium, go-karts and a range of water sports. All these assets make this popular hotel excellent value for money.
Sunday 25th May
After a breakfast at the hostel we will visit the old town of Palma with its stunning cathedral and palace and narrow winding streets and we’ll have lunch at the traditional market before relaxing on the beach close to our hostel.
Monday 26th May
In the morning we will catch a bus to the historic town of Deia and have a wander through it before lunch. After lunch we will set off on the first leg of our Majorca walking holiday, a 3h walk (difficulty 2) to the mountain hut of Can Boi near the Soller harbour. On this leg we will see several typical Majorcan manor houses and farmsteads and admire the views of the beautiful Tramuntana mountain range. In the evening we’ll grab a taxi to the Soller harbour for a few drinks in the marina.
Citrus Hotel Soller
The Small and friendly hotel 'refurbished March 2010' located in a privileged place in the port of Soller Majorca is the first hotel to receive the sun, overlooking the sea in a quiet place
It has unbeatable views of the Sea and the Bay of Soller. From the hotel you can walk or bicycle to reach the fishing pier or take a pleasant walk by the sea.
Tuesday 27th May
Today we will take a 5h walk (difficulty 3.5, one steep ascent) through the rural Majorca, going past a few old estates and olive groves, slowly walking into the more mountaneous terrain with a reservoir and gorgeous ravines and finishing in the mountain hut of Tossals Verds for a well-deserved dinner and mountain views.
Wednesday 28th May
This 5h walk (difficulty 3) will take us through the stunning mountains of Tossals Verds, Massanella and Galileu, using old bridleways and passing shepheard’s huts and natural mountain springs before finishing in the historic monastery of Lluc and the mountain hut of Son Amer for a well-deserved dinner and some local wine.
Santuari de Lluc
Located in northern Mallorca’s Tramuntana Mountains, this sanctuary is a popular pilgrimage site. It has its own museum and offers rooms with central heating, a TV and private bathroom.
The rooms at the Santuari de Lluc feature tiled floors and dark wood furniture. Many have great views of the mountains or the sanctuary.
The Santuari’s 3 restaurants serve Mallorcan food and specialise in roast lamb. There are also an outdoor pool, 2 bars and a café with a children’s playground.
The Tramuntana Mountains are a UNESCO World Heritage Site and provide an ideal setting for hiking.
Thursday 29th May
Last leg of our walking holiday (5h, difficulty 3), this route will take us from the mountains towards the beautiful north east coast of the island with its nature reserves and stunning cliff faces. The landscape will gradually mellow offering glimpses of white sandy beaches and rolling hills before we reach the seaside town of Pollenca. We will then take public transport to the historic town of Alcudia where we’ll be staying the last two days of our holiday.

Friday 30th May
A day of rest and fun on the beach with time to have a wander around the beautiful town of Alcudia and an optional trip to Cap de Formentor, a stunning peninsula with amazing cliff faces and gorgeous views localised a few kilometres away from Pollenca.
Saturday 31st May
We will have a relaxed breakfast in Alcudia before catching a bus back to Palma de Mallorca and a plane home.
What’s included: all accommodation, all inclusive (breakfast, packed lunch, dinner) food in the mountain huts, breakfasts in Palma, public transport (not taxis) and a professional mountain guide and a great time!
What’s not included: food in Palma, Deia and Alcudia, flights, alcoholic drinks and extra activities
