Teggs Nose from Trentabank

“This Cheshire walk lies within the boundaries of the Peak District National Park and provides a pleasant excursion into this surprisingly beautiful part of Britain. The walk includes the viewpoint of Tegg's Nose and the trio of reservoirs in the valley. This walk was put together to provide a decent walk during the foot and mouth crisis using paths that had reopened. The whole route stays in Cheshire with roughly half of the walk being within the boundaries of the Peak District National Park” The plan is for a 3 hour walk so we will stop for a quick cuppa half way and aim for a late lunch in the Leathers Smithy.
Kit list: hat, gloves, warm clothes, waterproof jacket and trousers, walking trousers, tea flask and walking boots are a must as it is very muddy around there - trainers are not appropriate items of footwear. Gaiters preferable.
