The Great Manchester Cycle starts and finishes at Etihad Campus, the home of Manchester City FC.
The 13-mile circuit based within Manchester and the neighbouring borough of Trafford, offers riders the opportunity to pedal through the city centre on closed roads and take in the sights from a whole new perspective. The route includes landmarks such as Old Trafford, plus a stretch of the iconic Mancunian Way - a section of motorway normally off-limits to cyclists.
Participants can choose from'A Great Day Out' over 13 miles, 'Rule the Roads' over 26 miles, or for more established riders, 'Break Away from the Pack' over 52 miles.
