Linked by a rich heritage the friendly peoples of Nepal have created a kaleidoscope of exotic customs and beliefs. An uncanny blend of natural splendour, warm settled weather, big mountains and fine white water make this the perfect playground for the adventurous traveller.
Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Kathmandu airport and be met by guide, transfer to hotel and chance to freshen up, group evening meal and pre-trip talk. (Overnight in hotel, no meals included).
Day 2: Free time/cultural tour of Kathmandu and then internal flight to Pokhara. (Breakfast included, overnight in hotel).
Day 3: Short drive from Pokhara, then trek to Tadhapani (a small village nestled in the heart of the famous Rhododendron forest unique to this region). (All meals included, overnight in tea house).
Day 4: Trek to Ghorepani (trek passes through jungle and typical Nepalese villages). (All meals included, overnight in tea house).
Day 5: Trek to Poon Hill 3,210m view point, for early a spectacular morning sunrise view, with 270 degree panoramic views of Mt Annapurna, Dhawalagiri (and other Himalayan giants) rising up from the lush forested valley floors. We then trek back to Ghorepani for breakfast and trek onwards to Ulleri and our transport back to Pokhara. (Evening meal in Pokhara excluded, overnight in hotel).
Day 6: Mountain biking around the Pokhara region (evening meal excluded, overnight hotel).
Day 7: Mountain biking around Pokhara and the foothills of the Annapurna mountains (evening meal excluded, overnight hotel).
Day 8: Free time in Pokhara to relax by the lake and enjoy the sun. optional extra day MTB
Day 9: Transfer from Pokhara to Chitwan National Park, then afternoon activities and introduction to the elephants (all meals included, overnight in jungle lodge)
Day 10: Activities at Chitwan National Park, including elephant safari, jungle trek, wildlife walks etc. (all meals included, overnight in jungle lodge).
Day 11: Morning activities in Chitwan National Park and transfer back to Kathmandu, arriving lunchtime/early afternoon (evening meal in Kathmandu excluded. overnight hotel).
Day 12: Morning transfer to the Last Resort, a quiet idyllic resort perched high above the Bhote Kosi river gorge close to the Tibetan border. Canyoning in afternoon (all meals included, overnight at Last Resort). Further options to enjoy the health spa/massage or to bungee jump/swing from the resort bridge 160m above the Bhote Kosi river (all meals included, overnight at Last Resort, bungee jump/swing & massages excluded).
Day 13: White water rafting on the mighty Bhote Kosi river (all meals included, overnight at Last Resort).
Day 14: White water rafting on the Upper Sun Kosi river and transfer back to Kathmandu (Meal in Kathmandu excluded, overnight in hotel).
Day 15: Free time in Kathmandu and transfer to airport for international flight home (breakfast included).

The cost is £1,185, with a £200 non refundable deposit required and the remainder payable 3 months beforehand, at the latest.
