Ben Nevis Walking Weekend 2nd - 4th June - Without Adventure What Is Life!

This package includes: car sharing transport, Accommodation, walking guide and social guide, sense of achievement with certificate and heaps of FUN!

The highest mountain in Britain, Ben Nevis (1345m) towers above Fort William and the surrounding peaks and valleys. It lies at the heart of the Scottish Highlands, overlooking the great sea loch of Loch Linnhe, and is surrounded by thousands of other peaks. We’ll be climbing Ben Nevis during this fully hosted and guided weekend, where you’ll join a friendly bunch of fellow walkers taking up the the challenge of standing on the Britain’s highest summits.

Same as many other peaks in Scotland which formed this way, it’s not an active volcano, but the rocks and geological features pointing to its origin are still clearly visible today. On a clear day it offers stunning views of the surrounding area and a tremendous sense of achievement.

Staying in Perth City Centre Hotel and driving to Fort William on the Saturday morning and returning for a hot bath and a glass of wine/beer.

NO YHA OR BACKPACKERS IN OUR ACCOMODATION VIEW @ https://www.queensperth.co.uk/

3* Hotel The Best Western Queens Hotel is ideally situated in the very heart of the "Fair City of Perth" within a suitcase shuffle of the railway and coach stations. The bustling centre of Perth is only a few minutes walk away, where you can enjoy high street brands and local boutique shops or take a leisurely walk down by the River Tay or through Branklyn Gardens which is a National Trust attraction.

Single room suppliment extra £100.

You don’t need to be an experienced walker to do this, and we have all day to climb, we will take our time so that everyone makes it up the mountain and back safely.

On Sunday, we will slowly be doing lots of stretches and taking in some of the local sights.

What's included: Hotel accommodation and the professional mountain guide to take you up and down the mountain safely with great time!

Kit list: walking trousers (not jeans), spare trousers, walking boots (not trainers), spare shoes, warm clothes, waterproofs, hat, gloves (there can be snow up Ben Nevis even in June!), day pack, thermos or water bottle.
