Located in 1,000 acres of the most beautiful deer park, the former Egerton family home is open for you to explore. You're welcome to uncover centuries of history at the Tudor Old Hall and witness life above and below stairs in the Mansion. Wander at leisure through huge glorious Gardens and take a look at our special rare breed animals at our working Farm.

You can also stop  off in the Stableyard where you can sit back, eat, drink, browse and buy.

With over 100 events a year it's the perfect day out!

For nearly 400 years the estate was the property of the Egerton family until it was bequeathed to the National Trust in 1958. Today it is financed and maintained by Cheshire East Council.

The walk will be a low level flat walk no longer than 4 miles.

Once we have completed the walk, we can then grab a well-deserved Sunday roast in Knutsford.

We'll be heading to The Old Sessions House: http://www.oldsessionshouse.co.uk/

Note: if making your own way, the car park entry charge is £6.
