Culture lovers will adore exploring the many churches, museums or the world famous Lello bookstore which inspired the library in the Harry Potter series. If you simply wanted to relax and get away from everyday life in Manchester, then stroll along the sea front and breath in the fresh coastal air whilst the sun warms your skin.

What can I expect?
Our weekend travellers include a good mix of friendly professionals. Everyone wants to meet new people, so don’t worry about not knowing anyone, we will soon change that!
We meet in Manchester Airport for breakfast before our flight which gives plenty of opportunity to chat to your fellow travellers and meet your host.
Your host, Steve ,has a wealth of knowledge and bags of experience and enthusiasm to make this a thoroughly enjoyable weekend. Given you will want to meet new people and enjoy the best Porto has to offer, we will make sure socialising is high on the agenda. We will offer some beautiful walks, day trips, and fun activities for the group.
Want to go your own way? No problem. Steve can make recommendations and answer any questions. So you can just relax and enjoy an evening sharing stories with your fellow companions.
For the evenings, we will choose restaurants and bars that offer the finest mediterranean and will give that true flavour of Portugal. Why not try the local fish cakes, or some tapas whilst you enjoy a wine from the local area.
What about the hotel?
As we want to experience Portos amazing nightlife, we like our beds to be within a few minutes walk of the restaurants, bars and many places we will be visiting.
We are staying at the lovely 3* Stay Hotel Porto Centro Trindade which is a top rated hotel by guests on trip advisor and is a short walk from the city centre. Each room is stylishly decorated to ensure a relaxing and comfortable stay. Breakfast is included. Rooms offered on a twin shared single-sex basis. Single occupancy rooms can be arranged for a supplement.
